Stars of the week!
Our 'Learning Star' of the week is...

Our 'Value Star' of the week is...
Reuben for showing love to everyone and consistenty showing all of his school Christian Values.
Useful Information
Please, please, please ensure that EVERY item your child brings into school is clearly labelled with their name. Items will inevitably become misplaced and it makes it a lot easier to return items to their owners when things are labelled. Thank you so much!
In Class RS we are always kind to each other and we treat the people the way that we would like to be treated ourselves.
We have KIND hands,
KIND feet,
KIND teeth
and KIND words.
We remember this through our school Christian Values and we let our LIGHTS shine!
Our Learning in RS
It was Sport's Day this week and didn't they do well?! A very hot and sticky day but they persevered and showed great spirit. We have been looking at sharing and counting in two's as a part of our Maths learning. In Literacy we have been storymapping the Gruffalo - RS have blown Mrs Smith away with how brilliantly they know the story! In RE we have been continuing to find out about Judaism - this week we learnt about the sacred text, The Torah.
These are some of the facts that we can remember about Judaism from what we have learned so far...
Logan - "The Star of David" is the sign for Judaism.
Jacob - "Moses was a special baby. His mummy put him in a basket and floated him down the river."
Minsa - "Moses threw his stick on the floor and it turned into a snake."
Elsie - "Moses spoke to God in the story about the Burning Bush."
Reuben - "There was a new emperor (Pharoah) who made Moses' people slaves!"
Harry - "The menorah. This is a special candle that people light. It makes them think about God and reminds them of the burning bush."
Christmas in RS
We have been invaded by a naughty elf in RS this week! Meet Pickles...
He has been causing lots of trouble in our classroom. He stole the star from the top of our Christmas tree! How naughty! He did leave us with a behaviour peg with his name on though so we immediately put him on 'Think About It'. We really hope that he returns out star soon!
