The Parent Forum is a great way of enabling parents to have a voice within St Matthew’s. The Forum gives parents and carers the opportunity to contribute to decision making on issues which affect them and also to play their part in improving children’s learning. The forum is a group of interested parents of pupils from across the Year Groups at St Matthew’s, together with teachers and governors, who meet termly to discuss issues relating to our children's time at the school. This is an open group. Come along and share your thoughts on agenda items.
The Forum meets on a termly basis and everyone is welcome to attend. Where possible, we try to set an agenda beforehand so that people have an idea of what will be discussed and they can come forearmed with ideas, suggestions and opinions! Check out this section of the school website for regular updates and also the newsletter for upcoming dates and agendas.
We have an open-door policy within the school so for anything that cannot wait until the next Parent Forum meeting, please see your child’s class teacher or Miss Webster (Student and Family Support coordinator)
