We hope you had a lovely Easter break and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. This term our topic is ‘Traditional tales’. Where we will be focusing on the story Jack and the Beanstalk where we will write the beginning, middle and end of the story. We will be planting and growing our own Beanstalks and observe the changes over time. This will link to looking at time in maths, from sequencing the day to being able to read o’clock. Please see below the termly overview for more detail of how we will be covering all the areas of the EYFS curriculum.
What will we be learning in Term 4?
Welcome back! We hope you had a lovely half term and enjoyed the glorious sunshine! Can you believe it, but your child in now half way through their time in foundation! Here are some of the things we will be learning this term. Please remember to look at our weekly learning letter for more detail.
we will be now recapping over all these sounds and making sure we can read the digraphs and trigraphs within the words and apply them to writing. We will be continuing to learn to spell phase 2 tricky words I, to, no, go, into, the and make sure we are confident in reading the tricky words he, we, be, me, she, you, all, my, was, they, are, her.
